Project: Design a logo
My Role: I designed this logo for an editorially art focused website and Instagram account. It will eventually encompass letterhead, business cards and more, but for the time being it's just the website and Instagram account. I worked with the founder of the site to create a mark that is individual, adaptable, and has a touch of hand in it. The outline of the logo was also conceived as a frame for social media posts, to brand them. In addition, the mark itself is quite easy to re-create with a bit of masking or gaffers tape (its visual inspiration), so it can be used out in the world for advertising, sponsorships, etc. It's the same idea with the pen scratchy option.
